Region 4 Swimming

TAAF Swimming
The TAAF Swimming Program Goal is to provide a state championship meet for recreational swimmers who have trained exclusively with a summer swim team.  It is our desire to give participants a chance to compete in a sport, to be successful against swimmers of their own ability, and have the same opportunities to train, in order to enhance self-esteem.

New rules for 2012 were passed at the TAAF Annual Meeting. Please download Article 32 Swimming Rules and familiarize your team with the new guidelines. Coaches packet will be posted in late January.

Region 4 has established a swim committee that makes regional decisions on circuit meet schedules, region meet location and format, as well as establishes guidelines that encourage all teams to uphold the state program goal.  In an effort to keep costs down, all participants in Region 4 must pay a Region 4 Membership Fee.  Please download the blank invoice and fill in as needed.  This money is due (by team) by June 27,2012.  Failure to turn in paperwork and/or dues, may prohibit participation in the region swim meet.  The Membership Fee is separate from the fee you incur when registering swimmers on the TAAF website.

For information on Region 4 Swimming, please email
swim@taafregion4.org and a TAAF member will contact you with the information you requested.
